A New Year

As the New Year approaches, how do you think believers should welcome in the new year?

  1. I am a firm believer in fasting and prayer . Starting Dec 31 2011,believers should begin their fast . Im talking about fasting from FOOD ,LIKE JESUS. Fasting does not have to be complicated. If you can fast til 3pm in a day and pray ,that is biblical . If you have some sickness or you get hungry ,you can drink juice . When you pray be very specific about what you want and need God to do for you . You should be praising God in church or you should be reverencing God in some way . To go to a party, I dont think so ... This is what Angela believes . People do what they want .. I think you should present a offering to the lord to start the New Year ,im talking about MONEY . I know you cant buy jesus , but however you feel or think ,there is not much you can do without money .Start the year giving,(money makes the maer trot). When you give you get , Gods principles work . This is how Angela Lutesie Brown thinks believers should bring in the new year ..

  2. I believe if you're a true worshiper it's only right that you bring the new year in giving God the praise for bringing you this far. If you can't get to your church you can worhip in your own home, but whatever you do give Him the glory!!

  3. Believers should welcome in the new year in the company of their loved ones all in prayer. Their prayers should be of gratitude & worship for the year that is ending and for the year that is beginning along with prayers for mercy, wisdom, guidance & prosperity for the new year.

  4. Believers should welcome in the new year by not only thanking God for what He has done for them in 2011 but also thanking God for what He has done to them in 2011. God change us!

Additionally, belivers must continue to increase their FaceTime ( private prayer time with God). It is in private prayer that God make us more like Christ. He changes our heartt
