Put on YOUR Armor

  1. Dear Pastor,
I missed church this past Sunday. A friend of mine text me the verses you preached from regarding, Giants in our life. Pastor, I'm still vibing off of the Genesis 4:1-8 lecture. I consider our church environment to be a classroom environment, so don't be offended by me saying lecture. Anyway, Sir I pray you blog the Genesis 4:1-8 lecture. You summed up my life struggle in that lecture Sir. I will explain. The one thing men struggle with the most is maturity, responsibility, and independence. Though Cain felt hurt and rejected by God, apparently his ego was bruised more than anything else. Think about the disappointment or rejection from a love interest or not getting the promotion we think we deserve on the job. The ego is fueled by sense of entitlement which has folk ready to go upside somebody's head, when they feel rejected or disappointed. God, knew that about Cain and stopped him. God told him Sin is crouching at the door and it desires you, but you should rule over it. Pastor I have 2 older sisters. I'm the only male, youngest child and was named after my father. For years I lacked maturity. For years I lacked responsibility and independence, yet I felt I had an equitable stake in the success of my sisters and parents. Sooner is better than later. Later is better than never. I got it together and manned up. So I thank you for you the lectures, Sir. Your lecture was about Worship. In worship we can't be lead by our ego. God bless. Please drop us the Genesis 4:1-8 blog. Peace!
