Do you believe that sharing Christ through social media is a good method for evangelism and outreach for believers? Or do you think that it is just an easy out for believers to not personally interact with people face to face? Give your perspective.
Yes, I think we should use the social media as a method to share Christ. We use it for everything else, why not use it to share Christ. How good God is!!!!
Sharring Christ through social media is a good & convenient TOOL for evangelism However, it should not take the place for more direct methods. Believers, along with the general population are shying away with personal interaction; which is why I believe that social media is a good tool. Believers have to use every tool in our arsenal to reach people because that is exactly what the enemy is doing. If social media is the best way to begin coaxing people out of their shell then we must use it, but only for a time, after all....how effectively can our light really shine if no one is ever allowed to see it??
It's all about "hearing" the word of GOD . Interacting through social media is good ,it's a start. I would say it is a great introduction to christ for new believers .Prayerfully , communicating through social media would lead someone to invite a person to be able to have a face to face interaction.By all means evangelizing through social media or however you're able to draw a person to christ is good . Once again it's all about HEARING the word, to begin ones walk with christ.
I think you have to reach the people in what ever manner available. You have to meet the people where they are and everyone is on some social media. And we all know if you want to get the word out, just put it on the internet. God knows the internet could use some positive influence. Imagine the people and countries you would reach which would not be possible face to face.
