  2. Pastor, my grandma used to say, be yourself or you will be by yourself. I can't be completely surrendered to God, and be concerned about what people think or believe about my walk with Christ. My love for humanity,( that includes non believers & people that don't necessarily like me), is to the Glory of God. I am created in my Fathers image, so no need for me to "dress to impress", not conceited or cocky, just CONFIDENT in my FATHER.

  4. Pastor I respectfully agree. What I have learned through the years is that you can't please everybody and neither should you try to.Living in a world where we are bombarded with Ads and told what to think, how we should look, or how we should dress many find themselves struggling to fit in...trying to live like the Jones my aunt would say. Why?To put on a mask to present themselves to the world as if they have it all together. As a child I could remember going to church and thinkingthat everyone who had on nice clothes had themselves together.Of coarse we know thats not true.A person makes the clothes. The clothes shouldn't make the person. My mom always taught me that presentation was important and one should watch how they carry themselves but not let it detract you from what's important. My goal in this life is to live my best life for Christ.Knowing and accepting that He knows me better than I know myself.Knowing that He knows my heart.Knowing that no ones perfect.Knowing that I at some point will make mistakes.Knowing that when I do that He will always be there. Knowing who I am and whose I am. Waiting to see what He has in store next.My prayer daily is that I never get to the point where I think I have it together. My petition to God is that if I ever get to that point, that He do what He need to do to get my mind right. For my goal is to live a life that exalt Him and that demonstrates His goodness to others. The overall goal being to win souls for Christ.Keeping it REAL.

  5. Pastor as man and women of God we should strive everyday to be mindful of who we repsent. You know I never did like that saying Fake it til you make it. WHY? we serve a Faithful God, whatever he said I have, I have. whatever he said I am, I am. whatever he said I can do, I can do. just follow his word WE can't fail' No one wants to sacrifice anymore, giving of themselfs wholely to the Lord without/measure. Man has no heaven or hell to put me in, so why be fake? God see's all things. And I do know fake people, but they have to answer for there selves. Thanks Pastor God bless

  6. I have to agree the previous comment.....FAKE IT TO YOU MAKE IT is a very dangerous mindset. It has crept into the church & done a lot of damage.
