How to Stay Connected

  1. I've been coming to your Church for the past 3 weeks. We found you because we were looking for a home. This Sunday will be 4 weeks. You have changed my life in this short amount of time. Every single day I think about this church and what I have learned from you. I am bringing additional people each week. This sunday I am bringing more. We are the white folks in your Church and hopefully soon I will be able to sit with you and tell you why. It happened when I was 12 years old and then denied the right to go to Church. I have tried my whole life to find my home and begged everyone to bring me to the place I need to be. Well we found you! I thank you Pastor Davidson. You are something very special. I can't wait for Sundays and now I hope during the week too.

  2. Ive been attending for 11years and is still unsure mt olive will be my church home. However I do enjiy the new new pastoring and the choir is icing on the cake. The church seem to be a status and celeb church but appreciate your pastoring on status at church should be servant of god. Grew up in a small church in jamaica. N refuse to get lost in a big celeb church. I'm still pondering as I need to make somewhere my church home by july 10 which marks 30yrs in the usa

  4. Debbie I don't know the people there so I certainly don't know who is a celebrity. To me this church is very loving and the message from the pastor is powerful to me. His messages have been totally the opposite of playing to the celebritites. I think he's a man of God and ready to serve all of the people. I guess in time if I see different I would really be sad about that. Those that have should be no different than those that don't. I also feel that way about politics. NO place in the church for that. I love this Pastor and I think he is right on in the message he gives to everyone regardless what they have and who they are. I pray I am right. I love the choir too. One of the things I was really looking for. I hope I meet you Debbie. May God bless you!

  5. His message is good. I truly look forword every sunday morning now. 7am. This morning was something else. I find myself soo attentive now. Ps. I also text a piece of the message to family members in jamaica as he preaches. And I must. Say what I felt throughout the years is definately not what I'm feeling today. He does preaches sgainst celebrity status n against everything I thought of mount olive in the past. Just continue to pray for me as I am going through some health issues stemming from the military. from his video posted above it was a reminder to me that I dont pray enough. I always remind myself when I do pray to pray for others and notask for anything. So I'm asking you to pray for me n someday we will meet and pray together God bless. Ps.( Let not your heart me troubled. He that believeth in God believe also in me. In my fathers house there are many mansions) my favorite scripture that I had to memorize n recite in sunday school in jamaica

    1. You can't count on me. I will pray for you Debbie. Starting right now. I hope we meet up. I go to the 11:00 services on Sunday. I love this church and I love the people who are so warm and loving. I am also going through hell at this time but I will not complain. I am going through this to learn lessons, some I don't want to learn but I think it is necessary. We all go through tests and this one is a huge one for me. I pray to God and Jesus that whatever health problems you are having will vanish and you will regain your energy and be cured. Think positive and when you are down and out think about this, people all over the world are starving and have no place to live and no food to eat. We are spoiled in this country and expect so much. Expect nothing and be grateful, you are not suffering from a deadly disease as many children do. Lets be thankful that what you are dealing with can be controllable. If you need me, reach out.

  6. I love listening to your blogs. It helps me with my daily devotions and prayer before work. I really miss my Sunday Schools with brother Charles Jackson. He spoke well and gave me a want to have the Dominus Jesus power. Your blogs help me to stay connected as well. But I do miss my Sunday School teacher.

  7. Dear Pastor,
You frequently mention to us that in order to find and utilize, the treasures of the word we have to open up our bibles. I work in Boca Raton. I catch the Tri-Rail[train] to Boca on a daily basis. I read my bible and pray until, I reach my destination. On 1/27/2013 you taught our Sunday School class, that we all have a part in the suffering as believers and that being Christ like is to suffer. You stated that when we wake up we should talk to God before we leave our homes. A few weeks after you taught our Sunday School class, I was faced with an enormous trial/test. Staying connected is how I've managed "Life's Midnight".Thanks Pastor!

  8. Pastot Davidson, thank you for all that you do, praying for the congregation & teaching us. Pastor, I also agree with anonymous, I honestly miss Bro. Jackson teaching Sunday school, he's on fire for God, an encourager & knows his history. I study, spend time with God, go to bible study, sunday school & serve on a couple of ministries. After a week of bumps, & humps the last thing I need is a luke warm sunday school lesson....Pastor, like you say just keepin it 100!

  9. Debbie, I've been a member of Mt. Olive for 65 years that I can remember, possibly a little more. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, let me assure you that Mt. Olive has NEVER been and is NOT a status and or celeb church. I say that to you with love and personal experience. God has richly blessed Mt. Olive thru the years and some folk don't understand it is God, not man who is doing the work there. I pray that you will find what you need wherever He places you. We are endeavoring to follow His servant leader and keep His commandments. Keep coming, praying and let the Holy Spirit lead you.
